About

Welcome! My name is Stacey and I’m so grateful you’re here!
I’m a trained chef, food blogger, and cookie artist with a passion for bringing people together through food. My culinary journey began at just seven years old, “playing” with my Easy-Bake Oven, and by eleven, I was already experimenting with recipes. I even wrote to Bobby Flay to share how I had put my own twist on one of his dishes. To my surprise, three months later, his producer called to invite me to New York City to watch a taping of his show and dine at his restaurants. I wanted to go, but at the time, my family had just relocated from Michigan to Florida, where my dad became the minister of a small church.
At fourteen, I landed my first job at Tropical Smoothie Café—dressing up as a banana on the side of US 1 to bring in customers! On my first day, I was trained on smoothies, wraps, and running the cash register. By my sophomore year of high school, I was accepted into my school’s culinary program, where I competed in culinary competitions and secured an apprenticeship at a local country club. Years later, I returned to that same country club as their Executive Sous Chef.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, completing two internships in Germany—an incredible experience that sharpened my skills and introduced me to my husband, Victor. After years of working in high-end kitchens, I transitioned into teaching and later into food blogging, launching Sprinkles by Stacey as a place to share recipes, culinary insights, and the pure joy of baking—all while staying home with our two daughters.
In May 2020, I became a licensed residential kitchen owner, specializing in custom-decorated cookies where artistry and flavor come together. I prioritize using premium ingredients, offering gluten-free, vegan, and plant-based color options to ensure my cookies are not only beautiful but delicious and thoughtful, too.
Today, I continue to run my business while homeschooling our daughters, blending my love of food, teaching, and creativity every step of the way.
For me, food has always been more than just nourishment—it’s a way to tell stories, create memories, and bring people together.
Let’s make something sweet together!
