Star Wars Birthday Party
Come see our Star Wars Birthday Party for Gabriella’s third birthday
Several months ago, I asked Gabriella what theme of birthday party she would like, she immediately said: “CHEWY!”. My soon-to-be three year old loves Chewbacca from Star Wars! I asked some of my blogger friends on Instagram “Help a Chewbacca birthday party for a three-year-old girl!” They gave me lots of ideas, but I ultimately decided to do a Star Wars Birthday Party instead. So I like Star Wars, I went all out last year for May the 4th, and now my girls like Star Wars too! I figured I could save all the Star Wars stuff that I do buy for our May the 4th parties 🙂
I had so much fun planning out all the pieces for this party, no really 🙂
So Easter came early this year, April 1st and Gabriella’s Birthday is April 2. I also had a paper due Easter night. As soon as I turned my paper in at 9:47 PM on April 1st I got right to decorating, so the girls would be surprised.
The black background is plastic tablecloths from the dollar store and they are taped on the wall with blue painter’s tape. I wanted black wrapping paper, but they didn’t have any. I painted with silver metallic paint dots to represent stars. The Millenium Falcon and the spaceships come in decorating pack which I found on clearance at Target! The Death Star is from Amazon.
So this is what the kitchen looked like for the following morning for our birthday breakfast. We have waffles the day of someone’s birthday in our family. The waffles are complete with whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate chips, powdered sugar, syrup, and a candle for the birthday person.
After breakfast, I got right to work on everything for the party
Food Menu-
Chewy Mac and Cheese
Han’s Hot Dogs
Vader’s Veggies with Hummus
Yoda’s Greens (salad)
Dueling Lightsabers (green grape skewers and strawberry skewers)
Sarlaac Snacks (Star Wars Cheez-its, Chips, and Cheetos)
Edible Ewoks (Mini Teddy Grahams)
The Cake-
Gabriella asked for a Chocolate Chewbacca Birthday Cake So I made a Flourless Chocolate Cake with Caramel Cream! Oh my gosh, it was so good!
Drink Menu-
Solo Sangria served with Death Sticks (I purchased glow sticks at the dollar store, haha I told you I had fun with this party)
Blue Milk (Bantha Milk)
Luke’s Lemonade
Favors-
Ok, so I really don’t do the whole favor thing at all this is the first time I have done it. When I was shopping in Target for Easter goodies I found these mini lightsabers that had candy inside. My husband thought they were so cool and a great toy, so I gave these to everyone.
Pictures from the Party!
All the action figures I purchased was from Amazon. I also used Target in the clearance section, the dollar store, and Party City.
Thanks for checking out Gabriella’s Star Wars Birthday Party
