Fried Banana Cheesecake Spring Rolls
After we had Chinese food last Monday I have been craving some fried bananas. Victor told me that for dessert in the Chinese restaurants he has gone to, they served tempura or beer battered fried bananas drizzled with honey. Well, a few weeks ago I finally found an Asian market and yeah, I had fun! I bought spring roll wrappers, potsticker wrappers, mung bean noodles, and various sauces. The total for all of that was cheap!!
While I did the grocery shopping this week, I picked up 4 bunches of bananas. Yes, 4 bunches of bananas. I have been cutting them up and freezing them, they act as ice cubes in my smoothies (we don’t have an automatic ice maker) and Isabelle has been eating them like crazy. Seriously, Isabelle ate 3 bananas just today.
When Victor came home from work yesterday, I think he was quite happy with what I had for dessert 🙂

These spring rolls are so quick and easy. The wrappers are very cheap and can be filled with anything. I know you can bake spring rolls, but I love frying them.
