Carlisle Excalibur Non-Stick Aluminum Fry Pans
Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post, I am very happy with my pans that I want to share them with you.
Are you looking for a better non-stick pan for the money without having to spend an arm and a leg? Check out commercial brands, just like what is used in the culinary industry.
This post goes along with the video that I shared on YouTube, at the bottom of this post. I had to upgrade my non-stick pans recently, and I knew I wanted to stick with a commercial brand like what I used in industry. I check Amazon and found that things were too expensive, yep that’s a first. So I checked wwww.webrestaurantstore.com and started looking around for some excellent non-stick pans.
In the industry, most kitchens do not use high-end brands like what you see on TV because pans and kitchen equipment all around take a beating day in and day out. How would you feel if you saw a pan that you paid over $100/$150 get completely black within a few days? Not so happy right? The pans that are used in commercial kitchens are fantastic especially for the price and can hold up to some significant damage.
Now caring for your non-stick pans-
DO NOT USE METAL COOKWARE WITH YOUR NON-STICK PANS!!!! Non-stick pans have a special coating, and if you use a metal spatula inside the pans, you are scraping away at the layer. Instead, use high-heat/ high-temperature tools made from silicone and nylon. Check out these from www.webrestaurantstore.com (non-affiliate)
When cleaning non-stick pans do not use metal scrubbers inside the pan, I see a number of my culinary students do this and have to stop them quickly.
