Caramel Apple Pie Smoothie
This Caramel Apple Pie Smoothie is made with Fresh Spiced Caramel, apples, frozen bananas, almond milk, and rolled oats are blended together for a treat!

Is it Fall yet?! While I was in my kitchen today, I was thinking I hadn’t made a new smoothie in a while. I looked at an old plastic gelato container, which is now holding salt, I read the label “Caramel Apple Pie Gelato” and thought. That could be a great a smoothie.
I had one apple in my fridge, some homemade pumpkin pie spice, made a quick caramel, oats, and frozen banana (to give it some creaminess) and almond milk. Enjoy!

Caramel Apple Pie Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 Gala apple peeled and diced or your favorite
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- a pinch of cardamom
- 8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 2 TBSP rolled oats instant
- 1 frozen chopped banana optional-it gives the smoothie more creaminess
- 1/2 cup ice
For the Caramel:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 TBSP heavy cream
- 1 tsp butter
- juice from 1/4 of a lemon
Instructions
For the Caramel:
- Place the sugar in a cold nonstick pan. Heat over medium heat to caramelize. Do not stir it, just let it melt slowly (then you will not have clumps of sugar). Add the spices, cook for one minute. Add the lemon juice, cream, chopped apples, and butter, cooking for another minute or two.
- In a blender cup add the oats, almond milk, caramel apples and sauce, banana, and ice. Blend until smooth. Enjoy! If not using the banana, use a full cup of ice instead.
This smoothie came out awesome and tastes just like an apple pie!
