Apple Jack-and-Ginger Beer Cocktail just in time for the holidays!
I made a cocktail this month! Most of the drinks on here have been smoothies–c’mon it was my first job! But, while I was attending Johnson & Wales University in North Miami I bartended private parties. Bartending gave me some extra money to help pay my bills and put money away for going to Germany. Not many people in culinary wanted to do it. Sure, they had no problem making each other drinks, but for a private party they would get scared. Not me, I loved it!
So, Degustabox sent two cans of Bruce Cost Ginger Beer. My mind got thinking, what was I going to make? I came up with the drink. I remember making Jack and Gingers for parties that I catered, but I decided on some honey and fresh apples and apple juice! Done!!
Make this Apple Jack-and-Ginger Beer Cocktail!

- 6 ounces Apple Juice
- 3 ounces Ginger Beer
- 1.5 ounces Jack Daniel's
- 1 TBSP Honey
- 1/4 each apple, small diced (my favorite is gala, but you can use what you like)
- Ice cubes
Warm the honey in the microwave so that it will mix into the drink.
In a tall mixing glass filled with ice pour the Jack, apple juice, honey, and ginger beer. Shake vigorously. Pour into an old-fashioned rocks glass. Enjoy!!
